Surviving, in addition to her son William are two sons, Frank Blizzard of Eskdale and Ross Blizzard of Huntington TWO daughters Mrs. Lana Harlow and Mrs.Oma Thompson 33 grandchildren 57great-grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren She was a resident of the'Cabin Creek District for 75 years. and was living at Dawes at the time of her death. She was born at Edmond, Fayette County. Service will be at 2 p. m. tomorrow.- at the Christian Church at Eskdale Rev. Homer Sloan will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. The body is at the residence. Johnson mortuary at Marmet is in charge of arrangements

When my mother was a little girl Ma Blizzard (Sarah Rebecca) had a small restaurant in Eskdale,Wva.
She recalls that, when they would visit, Ma would always feed them hotdogs.It was a very homey place that people would congregate at and visit with one another.One room had several rocking chairs and tables.Children would come on cold winter mornings and wait for the schoolbus.
Uncle Frank Blizzard ran the business after Ma passed away until it closed.

My Name is George Allen I married EJ Austin's sister Barbara. I used to work for Frank Blizzard at this resturant. Barbara and I were married in Frank Blizzards house across the tracks from the resturant.

I remember when Dad would take us over to visit Grand ma Blizzard and we would go to the resturant, I remember Frank would sell Fireworks over the counter Dad would always bring home some for us kids, Ma would always have icecream in a cooler in the celler for us kids at her home she was a great woman.
